New World Order Series, Part 2

A portion of the charter's preamble makes the following worrisome directive about the need to cast aside intolerant Christianity in order to promote its global society with shared values. The preamble directive says, "The choice is ours: form a global partnership to care for earth and one another, or risk the destruction of ourselves and the diversity of life. Fundamental changes are needed in our values, institutions, and ways of living. We must realize that when basic needs have been met, human development is primarily about being more, not having more. We have the knowledge and technology to provide for all and to reduce our impacts on the environment. The emergence of a global civil society is creating new opportunities to build a democratic and humane world. Our environmental, economic, political, social, and spiritual challenges are interconnected, and together we can forge inclusive solutions." [1]
Do you find what you have just read disturbing? Our American way of life is on trial and our religious freedoms in peril. Maurice Strong from The Green Agenda website said: "Perhaps most revealing was the forum for Inter-Religious Groups and Spiritual Leaders. As stated in the forum's official meeting minutes, the intent was to deal with the ethics of intolerant righteousness and the greed of short term gain, as these cannot lead us to sustainable development." [2]
In essence, Strong said the new global partnership will target born again Christians who uphold the Godly value of righteousness in Christ by faith (Romans 3:22). This quote from the meeting minutes also highlights the need to do away with the free market system responsible for our national prosperity. The world leaders are telling the world they will no longer tolerate wealthy Americans. In fact, the wealth of the average American has dropped by more than $4,000 since 2008 and continues to decline. One anonymous source said that as early as 2009, an Earth Charter task force reached out to religious leaders, scholars, and theologians, including individuals and organizations interested in creating a tolerant, peaceful, and sustainable future for all. In other words, the Earth Charter embraces movements like Dominionism that will help forge the New World Order.
While all of this is sobering, it is a snapshot of what has been ongoing on for decades. In addition to transformation of religious and political initiatives, The Message, by Eugene Peterson, inserts text into 1 Corinthians 6:8-10 that should not be there. The added text is bolded, "Those who use and abuse each other, use and abuse sex, use and abuse the earth and everything in it, don't qualify as citizens in God's kingdom." This added text in the preceding verse eerily agrees with one of the goals in the Earth Charter, which is to save the earth. Is this a mere coincidence of ideas or the same spirit at work in the minds of men?
What we have witnessed in the United States during the last several years is the hidden agenda of the New World Order. Like a slow and slithering serpent, the "python of globalism" is coiling its constrictive agenda around the citizens of the world with evil resolve. The stage for the New World Order has been set, a captive audience has arrived, and the actors (both political and religious leaders) are behind stage, getting ready for the opening the act.
Jesus said, "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." (Luke 21:36) What is coming upon this world is God's wrath, a time of horrific judgment from which few unbelievers will escape (1 Thessalonians 5:9). Look up! Your imminent redemption draws near. (Luke 21:28)
